Are you feeling thankful? The cold weather has started to set in and gratitude is in the air! We hope you’ll join us in our mission to spread the love this Thanksgiving season. But more practically, we’re also writing today to remind you that with the holidays just around the corner, your next payroll may be a bit trickier than usual.
On Thursday, November 24th, the Federal Reserve Bank will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving. Please note that Southland Data Processing will also be closed on November 24th and 25th and that all transfers will be pushed back for check dates on or after the holiday. Direct deposits will also not be live for payrolls with check dates of November 24th.
Thanksgiving Payroll Reminders:
- If your check date is November 24 (Federal Reserve Closed), you will need to move your check date to either Wednesday, November 23, or Friday, November 25.
- If your check date is Friday, November 25 and you would like to move it to Wednesday, November 23 to accommodate Black Friday shopping, please contact us to make the change and keep in mind that you will need to process payroll by 2:00 PM PT on Monday, November 21st.
Top Tip: If you would like to activate Wages On Demand for your employees (free for you to offer!) so you don’t have to change your check date for Black Friday, let us know by calling (866) 946-2032 or emailing [email protected].
